Have the above vehicle with 190k on the original engine. Timing chain is rattling - very noticeable on startup, then quiets down some, not all, after running 5 seconds. Want to check the oil pressure. What should I be looking for at idle and at some higher RPM?
Reason I'm checking oil pressure is that at the last oil change, I didn't have oil run down the side of the filter once loosened. Found that odd as I've change oil 12+ times on the same engines (also have a 2007 with the same engine) and every time some oil runs down the filter once loosened. The filter had oil in it, it just didn't run down the sides and make a mess, which got my attention. Once I know if the oil pump and engine are building proper pressure or not, I'll decide the path forward.

Welcome to the site.

You need to do the timing chain tensioners before you damage the engine.
