2010 Explorer 4.0L Fuel Filter Location

Ok, I need some help here. Trying to change the fuel filter on my truck and I can't find the stinking thing to save my life. Having been in the automotive industry for almost 20 years, I feel like an idiot. Any ideas on where it might be?

I think it's bolted to the left frame rail about under the rear seat? Can someone confirm my poor memory....

Well i went to a reliable source in Wix Filters website that i have used for years and they confirmed what you said. But several others have given 3 other spots that it could've been. I am gonna check the driver side frame rail tomorrow. Thanks nleipziger
