Hey yall. I bought a used abs module and replaced my old one. This is the module/pump, all of it. I need to know the next step. Do I just bleed my brakes like normal? I’m confused at this point because I’ve seen people bleeding at the master cylinder and at the pump/module itself. What do I need to do? I don’t want to damage anything.

Also, the abs light is still on, is this normal if the replacement is functioning properly? Do I need the code cleared? Will it turn off once the brakes are bled?

Help!

You need to pair the module with the PCM and to bleed the abs with any capable diagnostic tool.then bleed the calipers manually ( the idea is that all of the downstream components needs to be bled)
