2010 Explorer Limited hard downshift from 2nd to 1st

Just bought a 2010 Explorer Limited and am noticing an intermittent hard downshift from 2nd to 1st. I've seen other people who have a similar problem. The transmission is the 6r60 matched to the 4.6 V8. The car has 77,000 miles on it. My question is...is the transmission going to fail because of this issue? Right now it's just annoying but I have a 2 month or 2,000 mile warranty from the dealer. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.

Chief Mark did you notice this when you test drove it ?? The first thing I would do beings you have a 2 month or 2,000 mile warranty from the dealer is bring it back have them check it out this way there will be a record of it. Also an invoice would be great saying they checked it out. Start there.
