2010 Map Light Leak

I noticed last night my Explorer is leaking around the map light area (it was actually dripping and a puddle of water in the light housing area). I do not have a sunroof. I saw mentions of this in older models but (they had sun roofs)has anyone had this problem in newer models with no sunroof. It has 47000 miles on it so it is out of warranty..any suggestions on what to do...Thought I would ask here before I call the dealer and ask them anything. thanks

Is there a rack on the top? Might be a gasket up there. Just guessing...

Yes there is one. I will look at that this weekend. I was just surprised how much water it was.

While shopping for our current Explorer, we found a Mountaineer with 2/3 the miles. When we took off on the test drive, a stream of water came out of that light onto the console. It did have a sun roof, so we assumed that was the problem. In the end, I didn't buy it, so no idea what the real problem was.

I did read a thread on here that someone thought it may leak from the satellite radio antenna so he dropped the headliner and unbolted the antenna and applied silicon and haven't had any problems yet.

So my 2010 is leaking out of the passenger side light button. I have looked at it many times now and can not find a leak I have blow the drains out with compressed air and they are clear and there is build up of any thing around the drains the inside of the sunroof area is clean and dry. I do have SAT radio antenna on that side so it has to be that... how hard is it to take the head liner down to take it of and reseal it. I am very handy and have lots of tools for automotive repair just kind of wondering how long I will be there.
