2011 incentive protection program

I ordered in Jan. By the time I took delivery(4/20) the incentives had gone down & the price was increased. Both my incentives & price were protected.

I would love to see something official regarding price protection. In my case the base price and Rapid Spec 302A increased, so it is about 380.00 total increase, which is going to break the bank but any little bit helps.

I called Ford Marketing HQ and of course they referred me to the dealer. Where is the transparency today!! HA

I finally made my purchase and put all my paperwork in my safe deposit box so I can't get it easily. If you put a down payment on your explorer, your dealer should of had you sign a VOC (vehicle order confirmation) that states the price of the vehicle. My dealer was excellent through this process. I was a little concerned after reading the horror stories. I hope you have a copy.

With all the discussion about price/incentive protection, is everyone dealer with the salesman or the dealer finance area? Just curious. I will pick up my EX on Monday!

My salesman was fleet sales and internet sales. He set the pricing and incentives then tried to add on extended protection from ford. When that didn't work and the price was agreed on the vehcicle the finance person again tried to add extended protection. She made me promise I wouldn't give the price and I'm a man of my word. But if you look at the price on these forums for EPP and Maintenance plans she came close and threw in an alarm upgrade. She also got my interest rate dropped by 2 points for buying the EPP and Maintenance plan. So no worries for 6 years.

I have a copy of the vehicle order acknowledgement but I guess they could say we agreed on invoice - rebates and the invoice price is now an adjusted invoice.

We will make it work somehow.

Just got my check in the mail 1.5 months after I picked up the car. When I told the dealer about the program they were clueless. When I gave them the PDF they were informed.

I got the extra $500 so I am happy. And that's what really counts here.
