2012 XLT AWD
Been reading the forum daily since the 2011 came out, waited, ordered a 2012 first week August. I picked it up Monday afternoon, XLT AWD MyFordTouch. Driver's side A-Pillar is loose, Sales Manager had never heard of A-Pillar problems (he is the stereotypical car salesman), my sales guy is great and said they will do everything to make me happy. I left telling him I would most likely be back for that to be taken care of. I'm waiting for the buzz, nothing yet.

Drove in the rain Tuesday, got the steel drum effect, I'll live with it but its annoying that Ford designed it that way.

Tuesday night I decided to upload a picture via my USB thumb drive for my wall paper. As soon as I connected it I instantly got the black screen of death. Turn car off then on again, it did it's schedule service (reboot), then tried again and it worked fine.

Other than those annoyances, it drives very nice. Much quieter than the 2006 Mariner I traded.

Day 3

Thursday successful Sirius Channel Guide download on the way to work. But dreaded unsuccessful on my way home. Tried couple more times, no luck. Same thing this morning on my way in, still can't browse the Sirius Channel Guide. Figured with the 2012 v2.11 they might have it figure out. Bummer.

But the mechanical/visual aspect of it I love, great ride.

Jeff,

I’m available to help by forwarding your issues to the Customer Service Manager in your area. I already have your VIN from previous messages, so you would only need to PM your contact information, approximate mileage, and dealer name/state.

Does your channel guides say Canadian?

Candian

Does your channel guides say Canadian?

Actually the one time it downloaded the "section" of channels that showed on the screen said Canadian. This was the last section in the list, I had to scroll up to see the others. I would have figured it would have started listing the sections from the top.

Thanks for the offer to assist. I haven't heard the actual buzz at highway speed yet. I don't drive fast too often and there hasn't been any strong cross winds this week during my commute. But it is noticeably loose, I can push it and make it move (my sales guy did as well). What is your recommendation?
