2012 Explorer tight steering at highway speeds

At highway speeds 60 or higher the steering gets tight. It’s jerky to keep it straight, at low speeds the steering works great. It feels like you hit a stop on the steering wheel, then it will free up a little.
Any ideas on this? Thanks

It could be that the steering rack is about to fail but that is just a guess. 2011 - 2018 Explorer Power Steering Issue
