2012 fuel filler neck hose

Is there a reason why you refuse to answer the question about asking the dealer? That would have been the first place I would have checked. Also, Benny at Levittown Ford may be able to help.

The part is obsolete. The only way to purchase is with a $2500 gas tank. I just need the hose. I thought we already established the fact that the hose cannot be purchased from a dealership.

Going through the thread, there was no confirmation that you checked with a dealer. J_C also recommended checking with a local dealership after he didn't find anything but nothing was said that it was done. The only way to get the correct part may be from an auto recycler. They sometimes have a nationwide computer setup. Good luck.
BTW, here is a parts diagram from the Levittown Ford site. Fuel System Components for 2012 Ford Explorer | Levittown Ford Parts

Must have been discussed on another forum. Thanks for the info!

Did you ever measure the one you have?

There might be the possibility of finding one for a different vehicle that would work.

For example here are a couple, will either of them work? IDK without measurements.

The following Gates flexible hoses reads "Wire Reinforced Fuel and Oil Hose is for fuel or oil fill or cross-over hose applications where tight bends or vacuum is required." The wire in it should help to keep it from collapsing, as long as it doesn't need to have as tight a ~90 degree bend as what you pictured, then it should work if available in the correct diameter, or if both ends of yours are different inner diameter then you'd need an adapter.

Here are 148 items to look through:

I measured it 1-5/16. There's 3/64 difference between each end but 1-5/16 should work fine for both ends.

**UPDATE**

I Have finally found the info regarding the filler neck. Hopefully this will help out others going through this.

1.) Do not buy an aftermarket filler neck just because it's cheaper. They do not come with the hose and you cannot buy just the hose anywhere. The aftermarket filler neck is useless.

2.) You must buy the entire filler neck from Ford. It's a lot more expensive, ($200) but comes with a new hose. This is the only way to replace the filler neck.

Thanks to everyone who responded and offered help! I greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

What is the part number of the item you ordered? Did you get it from our site vendor, Levittown Ford?
