2013 Explorer Wiper Blades

So about 6 months ago I replaced the wipers both front & back. They(dealer) offered 2 options OEM or what I call a "2nd tier" wiper, sold by them just not as good? price difference was about $2-3 bucks, and they said they were warranted the same. Sooo, for the last 6 months they have been falling off, after a car wash, just picking up the wiper, if you touch it they seem to "pop" off?

I never had a problem with the OEM, just wondering if I got a lemon(s) or other owners have had the same problem?

And would you consider this a "warranty" item/issue, so replacement + the extra cost for the OEM?

Sooo, while Ford was OK to take back(warranty) the 2nd tier wipers the process was not as "smooth" as I had anticipated. I had to purchase the new wipers and fill out a warranty form that they submit to Ford, and then come back to get the refund.

However in "hindsight" I should have taken a look at both wipers at the time of replacement and or installation, it was very obvious that the OEM attachment method was much better, the quality of the wiper on both was good, but the OEM was far superior IMO. Good Luck

I test drove a 2013 xlt a few weeks ago, and used the wiper to clean the windshield.
The driver-side wiper popped off, and the wiper arm CRACKED the windshield.
I turned to the salesman, and asked what kind of crap he was trying to sell me?? (Jokingly)
I had not even taken it out of park yet! I got out, and walked away.
