Hi everyone,
I am new to the thread and Ford Explorers. It is my first time being an Explorer owner, but I'm already tired of it. When I purchased the vehicle, the catalytic converter needed replacing, and the check engine light came on after a day. Finally, after a month or two, my airbag light has illuminated on my dash. I already scheduled an appointment to have my vehicle serviced at the Ford dealership (where I bought it from). Before I take my bundle of joy for servicing, I would like to know one thing. Is there anything I can do to remedy the problem or at the very least diagnose without a mechanic. Has anyone else experienced airbag-related issues? Any advice? I purchased an extended warranty, but I'm not sure if the airbag is covered. Any help would be appreciated!
