I have a 2013 Ford Explorer Limited. The radio controls on the right side of the steering wheel are off center and I want to get them adjusted back to where they should be. I was poking around online looking for a manual to get to the controls but I couldn't find one. I rather not taking the entire steering wheel assembly off just to get to the radio controls, but I am kind of at a loss here. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I think this is one instance where a picture of your issue would help a lot.
I'm not sure how they can be off center.
Have you had your dealer look at it?

Thanks for the welcome!!

I should have posted a picture, you're right and here it is. I may have done this one myself so I am sure if I took it to the dealership they would charge me since it was indeed, my fault. :(

I can still use the controls, but they feel odd not being centered. It is cosmetic but I prefer to fix it if I can.

Okay, now I see what you mean. They seem to be a little to the left of center. That's odd especially if the left hand controls are in the correct position. Not sure how you could have caused that to shift.

Yeah, as I said it was my fault. I am almost embarrassed to say how it had happened.

Lets just say something landed on my steering wheel. Instead swooshing it away like a mature individual I slammed it with the ball of my palm. Figured the faster (which in term meant harder) I hit it the less of a chance he had to fly away. Well did his Karma Gods come back and bite me in the butt.

Needless to say the bugger (pun) got away and I am left with a reminder of how patience is virtue.

Anyway, any help would be appreciated. I am hoping I can just pop open the wheel and move/push it back into place.

Nothing? In the very least I figured a few of you would have called me an idiot.

dont sweat it, posting it here for the Ex owning internet to see is enough.
just talk sweetly to your dealer and get them to cover it for you.

You need to tell the dealer what happened (Me thinks there is more to this), so he knows that you knocked something out of whack. And, yes, if I was the Service Manager, I would definitely charge you, but your guy might be nicer than me and want to keep goodwill amongst his customers!
