2015 PIU
Greetings All,

I'm going to do a coolant flush on my 2015 PIU. I have ordered the service manual from Helm, but had more general questions.

- Any issues or thoughts on the Prestone 15 year 300K mile coolant?
- Should I replace the hoses and thermostat while I'm at it?
- Anything else I should do while I have the coolant drained?

My water pump has not been replaced yet, debating doing that in a year may be two. Will probably pay somebody to do that when the time comes.

Thank you.

Be sure that you use the correct coolant as specified in your Owner's Manual. Don't mix colours. What is the mileage?
• DONOT MIX different colors or types of coolant in your vehicle. Make sure the correct coolant is used. Mixing of engine coolants may harm your engine’s cooling system. The use of an improper coolant may harm engine and cooling system components and may void the warranty.

I was going to flush the current orange coolant and fill with the Prestone Universal stuff:

They say it is safe to mix, but not taking chances, will flush out all the old stuff first.

The vehicle has 96K miles, has been in service for about 6 years, the coolant does not look like it has been changed.
