- Looking to buy
Hi all.
I looked around a bit and didn't find anything on this yet.
I was hoping that I could upgrade to an aftermarket system which would have android auto/apply play without giving up all the other functionality (such as the integration with steering wheel controls and the small instrument panel screen on the right side which show your steering wheel controls options - entertainment, compass, etc).
So far it seem ridiculously expensive. Local shop found an option where need to replace the whole vertical dash actually moving the MFT to the lower section and installing new manual controls above (where MFT currently is) so that the maestro controls will work.
On 4dtech found an upgrade to sync3 for $1500.
Seems like there should be a better/simpler option out there.
I don't care about satellite radio nor build in navigation.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
