2016 explorer xlt radio upgrade

First post here.....

Anyone know where i can find the parts to upgrade my stereo from the 4.3 to 8 or 9 inch navi? Havent seen any parts or conversion kits yet, any thoughts? My '16 look like the same interior bezel and dash as the '15 but radioupgradedotcom says they are not a match. Thanks jay.

There is no plug and play kit available for that. I helped the Mustang guys do exactly what you are doing. There is a lot of work involved and it will be rather expensive and much more difficult since the placement of hardware in the vehicle isn't "swap" friendly.

You would have been better off getting a vehicle with one already installed.

Yeah it sounds like it. I talked myself out of it at the dealer . I thought i didnt want it and now i do.....grrr! Thanks for the input.
