I have a coolant leak on my 2016 limited(non eb)and I'm expecting it's the water pump (I hope not tho) with about 102k on the clock. Everything was fine and was driving it for about an hour. Came back home and parked in the driveway and maybe like 10 minutes or so it started just pouring out. It was like turning on the faucet. It pooled near the front passenger tire.

Someone tell me it's not the water pump lol, if it is what other parts do you recommend me changing when replacing the water pump?

Thank you.

Maybe this forum will be of some use:

You can confirm leak is coming from waterpump weep hole by cleaning off the coolant and then check to see if it drips from the side of the engine and leaks behind the alternator.

The puddle in the 2nd picture seems to have a reddish colour to it like transmission fluid. It you Explorer red by chance?
You can also check the oil on the dipstick to see if the oil appears to be contaminated (milky).
If the coolant came out "gushing", it is likely to be a leak somewhere since I don't believe the weephole would be that large.

Thank you for your reply. No, the vehicle isn't red. I did check the oil and it's not milky.

I drove it and parked. I came back out a short time later and there was a puddle. I opened the hood and the reservoir was really low. Turned it back on to see where it was coming from and it was like sort of pouring.

If it's not the weephole, where else could it be leaking from? I put more coolant in and it haven't leak (at least not that pouring leak). It's been sitting ever since. If I pop the hood now, there's still coolant in there. If it was a hose I would have thought it would have leaked out again which is why I assumed it was the waterpump.
