Brakes pulse and vibrate when decelerating from highway speeds.
No squealing or grinding
Brake pads have good thickness still.
No excessive brake dust visible on any wheel...

Planning to take the wheels off this weekend to look closer to see what the issue is, assuming a rotor is warped. Im not skilled enough to know if it’s coming from the front or back - left or right side.....

Any suggestions on which wheel to start? I was thinking start in the back since that rotor is a solid, thinner piece of metal. The front ones are thicker with two rings connected by cast webs sandwiched in between. Was thinking that the rear were more likely to warp due to the rotor design.

Any suggestions if I should start in the front or back?

Just wanted to say "welcome to the Forum Drew".
No brake expert here, sorry. There have been posts about the rear brakes dragging on the Explorer.

Most likely a warped rotor. If it's in the front brakes, whichnis most typical, you'll feel it in the steering wheel when breaking.

that's braking
