2020 Platinum Rear Lift Gate Hands Free Action

I keep my key fob in my pocket My lift gate came down unexpectedly once and hit me in the head. It was extremely painful. Once in a great while, I use my foot to try to open the lift gate and it only opens half the time. I don’t like that feature at all.

Since mine liftgate is set so as not to hit the garage door when opening in the garage, it doesn't have that extra travel before I feel it. I'd say my success rate with the foot opening is about 95%.
