Apparently 2021 TT Builds start this week, hopefully another good sign.

I wouldn’t want any of the first month or two, especially since they’ve been idle.

I believe that is TT - Tooling Trial Build. This is to verify that all the tooling processes work for the new model.

TT builds cant be sold to the public, engineers drive them then they are crushed

The Chicago Assembly Plant will only shut down for a one week Summer break this year instead of the normal two. This is to help catch up due to the previous COVID-19 shutdown.

What’s a TT? I doubt they crush two months worth of cars.

I'm on the 6th gen FB group and some of the transfer case and transmission issues are just insane. I hope they really really fix everything but knowing Chicago Assembly and Ford's track record, it may not happen. The brake booster issue doesn't seem to be isolated to Explorers, the Silverado and Sierras are experiencing the same thing... basically standing on the pedal but the vehicle still keeps rolling.

I don't recall any transfer case issues posted yet. Transmission issues, quite a few.

Peter

I saw the pictures and the owner said the dealer identified it as a leaking/broken transfer case. These transfer cases use Mercon LV, not gear oil. I recall reading other cases of bad transfer cases as well.

Just an update I was speaking to my contacts today at CAP and still no order guide posted.

Kinda weird considering the 2021 Order Bank opened Monday

I will keep asking

Now back to watching the Bronco commercials!

I've seen it quite a few times that it comes out several weeks after.. doesnt make sense but it happens.

Maybe Ford is holding out since the recent release of F150 and Bronco . Trying to space It out. Either way, hope it is soon!
