2025 engine and trans reliability

In winter which includes extended idle warm up and short trips to work I get 19 in town. On a road trip fully loaded with a 6 person family I got 36 on the interstate and 43 on the back highways. Both highways were traveled by night so minimal traffic with little altitude fluctuations and eco mode.

Nice!

Has ford done anything in the '25 MY to fix reliability issues with the 2.3L or the trans? We're in the market for a 3 row suv and have been looking at explorers. Is the 3.0L power train any more reliable?
I have less than 400 miles on my 2.3 four-cylinder ST Line and wish I had spent the extra money to get the 3.0. The four cylinder has plenty of power. The issue is the noise getting up to speed and the engine vibration. Everything else is fine. Great tech, good looking and plenty of options. 35 months to go on the lease and then I am turning it in.

The 2.3l may sound like a souped up lawnmower but it does what it needs to do.lol

It’s a 2.3L i4 turbo pumping 300/310
Idc what it sounds like
