2025 Ford Explorer Prices Paid

That seems like a lot of $$ for a 3rd party warranty. Did you check out this offer? 2020 Extended Service Plans Pricing @ Dealer Cost

Peter
Hmm your right

I did make a mistake when I typed (I paid $3500 not $5300) but it still seems rather high in comparison to those numbers

Not much I can do about that now I suppose though . I really should’ve researched that but I wasn’t aware there were options beyond that company they offered

I should’ve found this forum FIrst and before buying despite getting an incredible price, I think I would have done better had I consulted you, dale, Raptor , 410 and dirt

Just you 5 alone would’ve been more than an expert help

Lesson learned - next ford I stop here first

I was involved in a accident on 9 Jan 2025, I was hit from behind, while stopped at a red traffic light.
Wednesday 29th, around noon the insurance company call me and tell me the Explorer is a rite off.

I called my dealer, he told me that they had no ST's in stock, there order was expected to arrive in about a month, and he would look around.

About an hour later, he called me and told me he had found one in Montreal (I live in Ottawa). I picked up on Friday 31st late afternoon.

Sticker: $73140 cnd
Price Paid: $71765.00 cnd

Not much of a discount, as I had no real time to negotiate, but my dealer got me out of crap and I appreciate that. :)

Granger was 2200 or something for the Ranger. Explorer would probably be similar. 10y/100k. For Ford PremCare. At least in CA & FL not sure about NY ESP prices are super inflated.

Yes :inflated is an understatement
Especially with our motorist laws
That must be it
and Fwiw they said no matter what, the 5th year (asuming nothing goes wrong) they told me to just get the full repair claim and they will change ALL moving and pliable psrts that need maintenance or replacement whetehr we need jt or not

Essentially refreshing the refresh to as new as possible at the 5 yr mark , at least

Not sure how many it includes but that was the thinking

Interesting... with FoMoCo parts? Sometimes firing the parts cannon causes more issues, but sometimes it fixes them too. Whats your deductible

The inflation here comes from having to be an in stat edealer or something like that, so out of state places usually cant sell warranty to CA buyers. So thats why they can price gouge.

i could be wrong, again ill have to check the contract when im back home, but i THInK it is $500 .

(We usualyl opt for the higher premium buy in for a lower deductible later , NB)

...500 deductible..................... Think the Ranger was 2200 for 100... interesting.

Hey Brian. It's been about 4 years since I've heard from you. Sorry to hear about the accident. I'm on my 3rd Aviator now. Has a 2020 and a 2023 but the dealer made me an offer on a 2025 that I accepted. The Aviator comes with a 48 month subscription to Bluecruise but there aren't many roads in Canada where you can use it. The dealer didn't have what I wanted so they tracked one down in Quebec City. By the time I got home from Casselman, I got a call saying that they found a closer one in Verona and that is the one I'm driving now.
I hope the ST provides you with many trouble-free miles/kilometres.

Has it really been that long, I know I posted when i picked my 2021 Explorer ST, and i'm sure or nearly sure I posted when I picked up my 2023 Explorer ST (Jan 24)
I have been checking in with the forum, quite often, but no post, only reading.

Stay safe and enjoy your Aviator.

How's everyone looking on quotes / prices paid for a 2025 Ford Explorer?

I have the following price quote from my dealer:

2025 Ford Explorer ST 4WD

MSRP: $60,995

Dealer Price: $57,495

Doc Fee: $585

Total Out-the-Door Price: $58,080

Here in Missouri, we pay our taxes separately when we title our vehicles.

I have not pulled the trigger yet. Still debating. The offer above is roughly 5.75% off MSRP.

Thanks!
refuse the doc fee at min and everything in financing check out caredge.com for info

2025 active fully loaded
MSRP was $49,200
Dealers price ???? I wish I knew
Discount $3000
Trade in $1000
(Total off 4000)
Price (before tax, title , and $5000 triton extended warranty): $45,000

To drive away in exactly the trim, options, color you are looking for off the lot in November 2024 without ordering is very convenient as explorers (as most fords) come in and go right out so it was a good deal and the trade in was absolutely dead so I needed to do it (lucky they took the trade in honestly )

As far as the 2025 refresh goes , hell yes, I think it’s the nicest SUV on the road by miles, ofc the Lincoln is the super version, but I am not a fancy guy and $50K is my absolute limit, otherwise I would’ve spent the extra 10 for the ST

If you can swing it, you’ll be very happy with it
2025 Explorer platinum 3.0 ultimate package. All vehicles in Canada are 4wd. Ordered in Nov 24, arrived in Feb 25.
This is in CAD.
Total: 73k converted is approx 53k USD I think.
Provincial sales tax goes on the balance after trade in. At least in NB.

Besides the differences front and rear, the interior is nicer than my 21 Platinum. Also, it's quieter and seems to ride (take up the road better.

The blue cruise here is free for a year and so far it makes a long haul on 4 lane roads and bit easier.

It $900 CAD for a year once the trial runs out.

The free BlueCruise subscription on my 2025 Aviator is for 4 years. Not that it matters because very few highways here are programmed for its use.

Nice 4yr package, but as you say.
Trans Canada Hwy from NS though to ON and onto the west is 4 lane and good for mapping, but other sections are not mapped so renewing my subscription will depend upon the amount of travel I do to Central Canada next year.
