22s will fit but will look like crap with almost no tire present, not to mention the ride will suck and that is a lot heavier than the stock combo and will result in bad braking and performance deterioration

24s is insanely huge and wont fit at all without lifting the vehicle or it will ook like horrible crap and be worse than 22s

20s is still too big for an explroer but would be a lot better than 22s or 24s!

yeah, thats what i figured about the 24's...but when i get the 20's or 22's i am also going to go with the larger disc-brake 's all the way around with drilled and slotted rotors to stop them bad boys easier

someone makes a larger brake kit for an explorer?

yeah, cant remember where i saw it at tho..

i cant find where i saw it, but anyways i have discs all the way around, i should be able to find a larger set...and with a few modifications itll be done

doubtful......

22's with 265/35's on my 97 EB would of been perfect with no rubbing had i not lowered the front end (rarely rubs right now as is). there are other options out there but the tire size will decrease or increase

24's will fit in the rear in the front with a big loss in turn radious and it would look horrible because the car is just too small for such big rims, but im assuing if you get a 24" rim thats 8"-8.5" wide with a narrowing side wall (maybe a 265 or smaller foot print) and doesnt exceede 28" overall height you should be able to keep your turn radious. but honestly an 8.5" 24's is just plain rediculous

ive seen 23's on an explorer, but it had air ride so he had more than enough clearance if needed

my braking with dimple slotted EBC pads and rotors with 22's is better than (or just as good as) what it was with regular rotors and pads on 16's
