Hi Gang,

I'm new to the list. I'm considering mounting the Bridgestone Revo At's in a 275/70/16. They measure 31.2 x 10.8 and would be going on the stock SportTrack rims of an '01 Sport. I don't plan to lower or raise the truck. It's primarily a street driver. Most likely, I'll later got with a sway bar in back and the Edelbrock shocks. Does anyone have any experience with this size. Any concerns or downside, (rub, handling, gas mileage) to going this route? I've tried the 255/70/16's. Awesome tire just aesthetically a little skinny for my taste. Thanks and happy holidays!

Cheers

Did you ever try it?

hi dexorated,

yea, i actually did. it all works pretty well. the tires fit fine, (you'll notice a slight 'shine' on the inside of the front tires, from touching the front sway, after full turning arc). the rear swaybar is nice and significantly cuts down on body roll. the edelbrocks are nice on the highway, but are a little harsh around town. they don't like abrupt variations in the pavement. if i had it to do again....i would probably go with the 265's in the 70 profile and a slightly softer shock for my purpose. the 275's are a bit tall, affect acceleration and eat a bit more gas. the revo's in general are great tires; quiet, nice handling and great bite.

ciao

How much was your sway bar? Do you have a pic of how the new tires look?

i really don't remember. i purchased it from John at Explorer Express a little over a year ago, (i believe he's also a member of the site). very nice people, very good service. i'm sure you can check his website. and nope, don't have any pictures of the vehicle. sorry.

cheers
