2inch lift leaf pack?

Do the OME springs flex very well? Also what is the load rating of the spring, did they inclued that in the info packet with the springs? Lastly, where did you get your springs from and if you dont mind how much did they cost?

I think they flex well. They don;t have aposted load rating, but it is more then your explorer is built to handle so you don;t have to worry about that. Also I had no info packet with mine. All I got was 2 bare springs...thats it.
I ordered from 4 wheel parts, i do believe.
I think they were $225 per spring pack....i an trying to remember this from 2+ years ago so i may be wrong.

ALSO the OME springs that I have seen did NOT come with bushings in them. You will need to get some from a spring place or from ford to install them as reusing your old ones is a poor decision. They are HEAVY, when PAExplorer brought his over we were amazed at the weight. Top quality product.

If you get the OME springs, ask for the bushings too. Like the rookie said, they don't come with them. And if you decide to get them from Ford, get them ahead of time cuz you know ford will screw something up!

Jim, add the main leaf from a Ranger to your spring. It will add apprx 1.5" to the rear and should only cost $50 in a salavage yard. A side benefit is that you gain 2" of DROOP in the suspention!:D

If you do need to get bushings for OME-36 springs (e.g. you don't order it with them).. you are looking for rear leaf spring bushings for a 1996 4 door explorer (thats what OME has the springs listed as)..
