2nd Gen: 5.0 Intake Manifold Change

Has anyone ever changed the intake manifold from stock to a 5.0 Mustang Cobra/GT?

I am wondering if they are compatible etc. I searched around and was unable to find any thread of any change over like this.

Trying to squeeze a little more out of the engine. Headers would be the way to go, I know, but 1. they are expensive 2. very hard to find.

Also open to any other ways to beef up the beast...on a budget. And not the 50 cent throttle mod.

Honestly, although it looks a bit different, your truck's manifold is essentially the same internally as the cobra intake.

Headers first. Get in line, save your cash and get a set.

I have read that it's not that easy to get them anymore. Torque Monsters aren't available and it sounds like everything else has to modify steering in some way. But if I'm misinformed, point me in the right direction.

And ROFL about the food/toilet analogy.
