2nd time replacing wheel bearings...

Should i spend the extra 100 and the "better ones" or just go with the factory replacement?? Its only been 8 months since i last replaced them. But i do wheel the piss outa my truck...What can i do to make them last longer??

There is so much Chinese crap out there right now that about the only bearing I feel "safe" with is genuine OEM. Even manufacturers such as Timken, BCA, etc are feeling the pinch to move offshore so they can adjust their pricing down. If OEM is made offshore, and it very well could be, it's made to their specifications...which are held to a higher standard than most.

Eliminating business taxes would solve the problem of manufacturing moving out of the country.

I like the Ford front hubs also, but they are about $200. I need to find another builder of them, or the parts to assemble my own. Regards,
