3.0L intake manifold.

I was just curious, would a newer 3.0 intake manifold off a ranger work on my 3.0? It has the one piece(throttle body/upper intake)assembly, and while I have the intake off to change my v/c gaskets, I was thinking of putting a 2 piece (upper intake and throttle body) on it. I was just wondering what all I needed to get to perform this task and will it work. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Do you have a picture of both intake manifolds so that we could compare them? Why do you want to use a different intake manifold?

3.0 vulcan intake manifold

The thought of switching the intake manifold on my 95 was because of the air flow being smoother and I was told that you could put a 3.0 liter escape throttle body to help increase the performance of the vulcan. I didn't know if it was true but any ideas would be helpful. The intake swap was on ford ranger forum. I didn't know if that is true of fictitious. Any input would be helpful before I tear into it.
