Brake rotors. 90 percent of sport tracs have 12" rotors. The rotors needed are 11.25" rotors like from a ranger edge or and 2nd gen ex. The calipers I have been told are the same. I've looked into it and still am but I just don't wanna lay down a lot of money for something that won't work.
I thought those spindles had been discontinued? With the extra weight of the ST, i would not recommend going to a smaller rotor, but that is just me. Unless you spend extra cash and get performance rotors and the good EBC green or red pads.
That and the fact that I would assume that lift spindles would be done so that bigger tires can be put on. Bigger tires and smaller rotors seems to be taking one step forward, two steps back.
You could do the spindle lift but then you're gaining bigger tires, more lift, smaller brakes and losing 4wd. Someone give it a go; you'd be able to brag about being the first ever!
If anyone's interested in getting some lift spindles let me know. I have a set of pro comps (bullseye industries) for sale. Came off a 98 explorer. $250 obo + shipping.
