300 inline 6 in exploder?

hey, looking to do a motor swap and wonder if anyone has ever attempted to put the inline 6 300 in an exploder/ranger/bII with a 3 inch body lift...would make a sweet wheelin motor...thanks...

Good luck. You will need to cut the core support out and put the radiator were the grill is. :p Seriously, there would be like hardly no room for accessories..... the explorer engine bay is really short.

he's right . i had an f150 with the inline 6 in it. the motor is really long. why not just supercharge your motor to get the extra torque you want(if thats what you are lookin to get out of this swap).
 






ARSOUL put his explorer body on a f250 frame, he is runnning the f250 suspension and drivetrain 300-6 etc..
 






guess i might just be better off doin the 5L...i just thought i'd be a sweet wheelin motor...

That is, until he hydro-locked it up at Reiter Pit trying to drive through the lake :D
