4.9l inline 6 ranger?

laying awake last night i had a brainstorm. would it be possible to put an old 4.9 litre 300 inline 6 in a ranger? has anyone heard of this? i know people like to put 5.0s in rangers but i thought it would be kinda cool to have a high torq engine like the 300 in a ranger. THX

How sweet would that be! I've dreamt of that, too.
The only person who might have done this, (I can't remember for sure) is Arsoul when he put an Explorer body onto an F250.

I don't know about a 300 6 dut on utube there is a 93 with a 5.9L cummins 6bt in it.
