1993 Explorer Eddie Bauer
I've got a 1993 Explorer Eddie Bauer and wanted to put the biggest size BFG A/Ts without a lift. I heard 30x9.5 and I've also heard 31x10.5s. Which would work better on the stock alloy wheels. I need to get rid of the ugly 275/75 passenger tires on it now for the Kansas winters.

yep what GaSouthern1 said. 31's work fine

I have BFG Longtrails in the 31x10.5 variety. I had to trim back the inside rear of the wheel lip molding to stop it from catching and bending. I can still hear occasional rubbing but the only time you turn all the way is the parking lot, who cares!

better not let Alec see this.....search: "lift and max tire size"

I have a 94 sport with 31/10.50 on the stock 15x7 rims and have had no problems rubbing. I haven't flexed it much since I put them on but just looking I can't see where it would rub or if it does it wouldn't be much.

Had that setup.Had to hammer the seam of the fender that sticks down with a hammer. What's the word I am looking for here?
