They are a bit wide for stock wheels.. Thornbirds aren't too great.. I'd look at something better like the LTB's, Iroks, etc..

OKAY cool thanks ! and i was thinkg about geting new wheels too procomp 97 series... but ill check those other tires out. . .

RWL vs C

RWL should be Raised White Letter. C I would guess is the black sidewall version. Usually big off road tires come in both versions because most mud tires are directional (must be mounted a certain way) so you can't just turn the white letters in if you don't like them.

As for fit, you'll have to dig through the forum some more. Someone posted once a thread showing the largest tires that would fit without lift, I suppose if you search for that then add lift to clear extra tire you should be good.

If your just looking for a more aggressive tire, just go with a all terrain.. Your wasting cash if your not gonna wheel your rig and have maximum traction tires.

I believe Thornbirds are referred to by many on here as "Thorn turds" and I've ready many bad reviews.

I was just about to say that. The only thing I like about them is the massive amount of tread sticking out from the sidewall.

a friend of mine had them on his jeep..They are extremely loud and get very hot on the road. Not for the occasional wheeler.

I have them on my ex now. They aren't to bad, but they are mainly for sand. The side lugs grip up in the mud and sling alot.

I like my interco TrXus Mt's. They've been a great dd/wheeling rig combo. They are also one of the few "mud" tires that are good on snow and ice. I have 265/75/16's on stock 16x7 rims.

Those tires won in a recent issue of either petersen's or four wheeler. They tested 5 different 33 inch mud terrains and they came out on top.
