Does anyone in CO have a 32 11.50 that they'd let me test fit on my truck this week??? I'm getting new tires this weekend and I'd like to see if these will fit before I just go out and buy them...

Thanks,
Heath

Where are you buying your tires? I went into a Discount tire here and they mounted some 33X12.5s so i could get an idea as to whether or not some 33X10.5s would fit (I would have had to order them from them). They had no problem with that. I ended up being surprised by the fit and actually bought the 12.5s.

I just have the TT and OME springs. They will fit fine on mine with a little mod to the front bumper. They will rub on the rear under full articulation though.

andy

you can get them test fit at Discount tire , thats what i did.

But I'm in pueblo !

I would but i'm in pueblo ... Like the others said , Discount will test fit for sure and I bet Big O and others will too . Goodluck , they will fit ....

discount tire company and america's tire company are the same store... i used to work @ americas tire company CAN 14.... we did test fits.....

I've never seen an American Tire in CO. I think the closest is AZ.

Well I have the verdict!!!

Now what I want to know is this... Who is the MORON that told me this size would fit my truck!!! I did the 2" body lift, shackles and TT and they don't fit!!! Now I have to go with 31 10.50 15's... Oh well... I guess I'll just have to deal with it...

go easy cowboy.....I wouldnt start calling everybody morons......everybody here give free advise. Sometimes things will work for one vehicle that wont work on another.

you start blaming people and calling them names then you might not get that free advice again when you really need it.

These guys have helped me you GREATLY: hints, tricks, tecqniques(spell check...im feeling retarted right now), cool mods taking thier time to find out what is wrong with my vehicle the list goes on......and you name it, its probably been talked about and help many people on here.

have a good day

Moron ???

THNX Ryan , And to think I actually felt like a moron for a second , well no i didn't , but anyway I agree with you . Heath I told you that they would fit , and also offered to test fit my wheels on your X ... I actually brainstormed all day figuring out a way to get to denver to help you out . Then get called a moron . I have a 98' sport 1.5" TT / 1.5" add-a-leaf and 32's fit just fine , so I assumed they would fit on yours .....

Dude, I totally laughed out lould, on you comment :

"And to think I actually felt like a moron for a second , well no i didn't"

Kids these days......No respect I tell ya.

your a good man charlie brown

BTW rocky,

how much did you pay for your 8 inch lights and are you happey with them

I hit a grand opening sale @ 4wheelparts buy 1 get 1 FREE $48 out the door ..... They're GREAT , I like em' alot ... They're designed as a spot/flood in one so it's kinda like havin' 2 sets of lights .... they look good too I get lots of compliments on em' . take care man ... Rand

Like Ryan says, every vehicle is different. I have a 96 v8 but it is the EB, not the XLT. I have shackles and an add-a-leaf in the back, torsion twist up front, and a 2" body lift and 33s go in there with no problem. I am even considering taking off the body lift and trimming the fender to get rid of the body lift. What was it about the tires that didn't fit? 32s would have all kinds of room on mine.

Heath was being sarcastic... that's just Heath. :D Don't take it so serious.

well as I explained to heath it also depends a great deal on tire sizes. AS most people have discovered, the tire size on the side of the tire is very rarely even close to the actual size of the tire. Mickey Thompson used to be good about posting the "actual height" of tires but have since strayed from that. As Rick ran into, the 35" baja claws actually measured out to be about 33.5". My 33" Baja Belted HP tires are 32.4". I've seen some that are sized 33" and are under 32", and I've seen some that are sized 33" but are over 33", so who the hell knows?

Good point... I did my test fit with a set of General 33s (street tread) and had more clearance than i did when they put the BFG M/Ts on.

Heath what size wheel did have on when you test fit? i Had 15 x 10 eagle alloy and my 31s were so close to rubbing even with a tt and shackle lift. so i got my original wheel back out bought my 32s and went to the tire shop. he put the 32 x 1150 on a 15 x 7 rim and the only rubbing i get in on the sway bar at full turn. i will be puttin on my body lif tsoon and hopefully i can get my mods back on my truck but for now im wheeling with 32s.

i totally understnd your frustration. it was hard to tell my wife that the wheels she bought me last year wont work anymore.

what tires did you end up getting?

You shouldn't feel bad. I put a 4 " skijacker lift on my 91 after talking directly to skijacker. I told them I wanted to put 33's on. My trunk now rides on 31's. 32's would have fit but they would have been 32x11.5's and at full stuff and turned they would rub. So its clear that these trucks do vary in height quite a bit.

Thanks Troy...

As Matt and Troy with both tell you I"M KIDDING... And as for the Kids these days, well check the profile before you call people kids...

I may tell them to test fit the actual 32 BFG Mud's and wheel that I want before I buy... Since It could be that they will fit... All I have done is the 2" body lift Shackles and TT to about 1"... I could turn them up more but I really don't want to...
