I know that many have said 31's wont but do. I've run 3 sets of 31's so I know they do. Now has anyone tried 33's? I know that you need lift but would 33's & a torsion twist/add-a-leafs actually work? Has anyone actually tried? Curious?

It's been done many times....Search this topic as there have been many posts and threads about it.

Pete- 33's with a shackle/twist lift? I havent heard anything about that big a tire. Largest I've heard that could go with those was 32's.

i tried fitting 33x12.50x15, there was no way it was going to fit with only a shackle/warrior lift. Others may have fit 285/75/16 which are about as tall as a 33" but they are not as wide.

Sorry, I guess I'm wrong, although I coulda sworn ya could get 33's on. My mistake.

you can w/ the body lift.

Yes you can do it.

Here we go again. The answer is yes.

Click on "Gerald's Truck" in my sig and page down to my article. Scroll down to where I explain how I got my 285/75r16's on (equal to 33x11.50). It's in the section entitled "Big Tires and Ten Hockey Pucks".

You have to be willing to trim to do it and as HIX mentioned it will require a body lift with the torsion/shackle lift. Going wider to a 12.50 will require a lot more trimming at the back of the front wheelwell. But it can be done.

aah to be Young and Insane !

What I was thinking of was many be just many be 33 x 10.5 on stock rims. Since I have Stock Rims on my 95. The ones that look good (ha ha ha). I have got to figure out how to add my trucks stuff to my signature.

I had 31 x 10.5 on my Old Bronco w/ 15x8 rims Never had a problem at hard core wheeling once I got 15x10 rims. Rum Rum. So I know that Wider will rumb but what about Taller not wider. BFG & GoodYear make them.(33x10.5 & 33x9.5) Hope I can Find them Here. That is something I can try since here they will let me try.

I want to try some 33x15s I know I will need to trim my running boards and the bottom of the inner fenders I have a 2inch body lift does eneyone have a picture of there triming job on the fenders? thanks
Wade

33x15's? I take it you mean 15 in wide....Cause that would take ALOT of work. Cause I did 14in wide tires, and it took, lots of work!
