:exporange I was wondering if you can fit 38's under a 5.5" susp and 3" body on an X. IF you have any odeas about tire and wheel sizes, let me know.

You can fit any size tire with that setup. It just depends on how much you want to use the sawzall

sawzall = a reciporcating saw.... Use it to cut your fenders, also if your 4wd, your front axle will WILL NOT , like 38'"s you will have all sorts of problems, mainly bearings and what not, most people go no bigger than 35"s or 36"s, and usually with har wheeling the have some problems....

I have a 95 bronco, and there's no way i'd think about runnin 38's unless i had a solid 8" of lift. Then you have to consider axle strength on both ends and gearing. On a midsized truck like an exlporer, i'd stick w/35's max

:exporange Thaknx fellas for the info. I might just run 36's and i am mainly going to run it it the mud, it might see pavement every now and then.

I ran 38s at all of my mud runs without a single broken part. Now I did have to drive 30 miles to the track and then run it all day and then drive it back. But these guys are right. 38s will kill your front end for sure.

Oh and on a side note.......with 5.5" suspension and 3" body WITH fiberglass fenders you can fit 38s.

I'll go through my box and see what I have hidin in there.

i fit 38s with a lil cutting and i havent broken anything yet
