Photos 3rd gen pic's

measured from ground to bottom edge of trim at wheel center:

285's, 2.25"F 1.75"R, 1.5" body lift = 38 1/2"

265's, 1.75"F 1.5"R, 3" body lift = 40"

i'm confused as to how i'm still 1.5" lower than yours in the front?

:dunno:

That is strange. I do know after 2003 they changed the front spring specs a bit. Perhaps the earlier springs tend to settle more?

Either that or I still have a lot of mud dried under my front end, making it sag?

Lol!

I am still trying to make sense of it. I figured we would have been about the same height, maybe slightly taller on mine. That's a big difference. When you measure are you putting the end of the tape measure so it touches the inside of the fender well? Or are you putting the tape outside of the fender well and seeing where the bottom lip of the moulding lines up with the tape?

Measuring where the bottom lip of the molding lines up with the tape measure. Don't know if i want to get quicklifts now or make 1/2" spacers to use with my existing spacers

Steve are you having envy issues? LMAO!

why not just remove your 1.5" body lift and put on the 3" kit? You'll get more lift than you would from an additional 1/2" of strut spacers and the suspension travel won't be made any worse than it is now.

It was just kind of funny that Steve seemed to be jealous that you have 1.5" on him, lol. But I am also curious. Did they change the suspension on my year also?

I already don't like how much frame shows with the 1.5" bl, and I can make up 1/2" shims at work for free. Id buy duners kit but I'm not keeping this truck long enough to justify spending that kind of cash now

I can appreciate that. Though the running boards do a good job of hiding the frame...were you ever able to sell yours?

Not jealous. Confused. Bigger tires, bigger spacers, I expected to be within a quarter inch of where James truck stood

Not sure. All I know is that there seems to be some sort of change in the coil spring specs between 03 and 04. As far as I know the springs stayed the same after that, until sometime in the 4th gen family.

Agreed, I LOVE the look, BUT since it is my daily driver I think it was a little much. Waiting to see your truck in person Steve, to see if I am going the spacer route.

Not yet, still have two different sets available

The spacers kill your ride quality, but Damn they make the trucks stance look better

I know the feeling, there at x's here that are the same height as mine and yet they have the smaller 245 tires, there must be a suspension change

I know! Look at the website where there is more pic of it: http://www.wix.com/duner00/suspension-technologies#!

The stance is SUPER sexy, but for $3000 IDK if a 6" lift is worth it on a DD. Later on down the road I might get another one and install it and just use it as a fun truck.

wow 3 k still owe that on truck not for a while!

seen your truck in town yesterday looks good.

Thanks, Doing anything Jan 14 or 15th? We are going to have a group go to Bundy Hills for "Winter Wonder Wheeling". Although there still is NO SNOW!!!! :fire:
