DISGUSTING

Yeah it is. I kinda like the hood and the dual fogs though.... Not with that bumper, but like if there were 2 in each side of our bumpers...

Not a fan of that style, though I do wonder if the body kit improves fuel economy due to the aerodynamics.

Lol still wouldn't be worth it...
That thing is the ugliest x I've ever seen..

I have always been one sided on this.

I think it's stupid and ugly as ****. Sorry but they are called SUV's (Sport UTILITY Vehicle). After doing stupid modifications like that, or lowering it (sorry boys) but after any of that you end up re-classifying the vehicle to a SV (Sport Vehicle). Because there is no Utility in something that sits on the ground and you can't drive over a speed bump in a parking lot or be like one of those assholes in their Mercedes who swerve in front of you in traffic because they will destroy their car if the hit even one pothole.

OK I'm done for the morning :)

Oh I'm totally with you. But it's no surprise that these kinds of mods are popular on SUVs as a sizeable majority of the owners likely don't use the vehicle to its full capability (grocery getter/family vehicle) and just like being able to sit up high and have a big flashy vehicle. Probably why these crossover type vehicles are becoming so popular.

any mpg is ruined by the extra weight of the body kit and those rims and i bet you he has a ridiculously stupid system in it with 3 subs on each seat. the sport utility vehicle turned into a one seater ricer

hhhmmmm lets take this nice explorer and try to make it into a riced out escalade....

I'd imagine that the weight wouldn't be much if any, those body kits are made of fiberglass and it looks like there is a huge weight reduction section in the middle where that grille is

i just figure its almost almost has a full extra bumper on it in the front and back plus two extra foglights, I would just assume with those mods you need different parts to keep everything flush and perfect and the time your done with everything it would be more than a stock x. hp to weight ratio just my way of thinking lol

i understand what your saying, but my brother did a body kit on his car and believe me the kit weighs basically the same

I had a navigator in my neighborhood with that kit and lambo doors. Kit was flaping around on the car. He actually left his bumper on speed bump :)

Wouldn't the extra fogs make it illegal....I swear in va you can only have four lights in front(why you have to cover other lights)

I believe it to be the same here in Indiana, that's why i want to make lights to fit in the little louvers next to stock fogs so it will look like one light source

Or you could rig up some little actuator motors that slide covers over them when they're turned off :D

You're on of the lucky ones with LS diffs. haha

Ha ha I guess so. I bought it because it does everything I need and nothing more. It is an '03 XLT Sport Flex Fuel 4.0 4x4 w/3.55:1 gears & tow package. It will cart me, my girlfriend, and her two girls comfortably to the race track with my Mustang on an open top trailer in tow and all my gear. I wanted the V6 because my daily commute to work is 26.4 miles one way and the 4x4 because it all down county roads which if I'm lucky are plowed a day or two after it snows. The LSD's were a surprising bonus that I was unaware of.

In WI you can only have up to four lights on in the front of your vehicle. You can have more but they can not be illuminated.

That is something thatI would be dumb enough to try but when I came up with it, it was for Aux reverse lights.

Mount the light to an actuator and they lower when you shift into reverse and retract when in gear. :D
