Question, will 265/70r17 fit on an 05 without any modification to the wheel well?

What sizes are recommended?

What tires are recommended?

Anyone have tires bigger than stock 17" with pictures?

been there seen that, still does not tell me if I have to modify my wheel well to prevent rubbing riding with the 265 70 r 17's

a 265/70/17 measuers the exact same size as a 265/75/16 which is 31.60" tall by 10.43" wide so it's basically a 32" tire and there are a few people on here and a couple on cardomain who run the 265/75/16 wheels on there 3rd generation explorers with no rubbing on or off roading. so your perfectly fine. hope this helps you
