I can't say I've seen my 4.0 OHV with factory mounts move a lot even when nailing the gas, though...and poly mounts do tend to transmit a lot more vibration.
I don't like the implication that chances of block damage are slightly increased or something from cradle mounts, either.

Wait to you sart running 100:1 gearing and see wht happens to the stock mounts. My new stock trans mount lasted about 15 minutes. So far engine mounts are good but i know they will be trashed here soon.

That might be an idea for these mounts... include a transmission mount also.

Forget the trans mount and just go with a complete trans x-member. With bushings out near the frame. Similar to the pre 88 Ranger crossmember.
I believe Camburg has a decent crossmember out, that is a stand alone unit.
