I have a problem with it engaging. I have 02 with the V8 w/53,000 and It's has auto 4x4.That still works but if I try to put it in low or high 4x4, the lights come for a couple seconds and then when I start to drive they go out?? Any clue. Where to start?

I am going to say that it is the 4x4 module. Do a search for that. Very common and it can do weird stuff as it it is going out.

Thanks for the info!! It was my Module. I guess For $170 I can't complain. It could have been worse. Thanks Again

Is their any places that take old Modules???? I just thought instead of throwing it away.
