here is the problem(s) i am noticing. when i switch to and out of 4Low (in neutral and foot on brake) i got these pop/clunk noises as it goes in and out of 4Low. i dont know if it is coming from the transfer case or somewhere else. winter is near so i would like to find out what this is and hopefully get everything taken care of.

also when i am in 4high and i try to turn either right or left i get this binding/grinding noise and can feel it as well. the noise and feeling kinda seems like it is coming from the front Diff area. CV's maybe?

if you need any other info other than whats in the sig and knowing i have a 4405 Borg-Warner T-case and i have the auto 4wd just let me know and i will find out the rest.

thanks.

The clunking is no big deal, its just engaging/disengaging low range. The binding is from driving on pavement with it in 4wd. Don't do that. Ever.

X2 what he said

only use 4lo when you really need it off road, otherwise things will break in short order.

that binding.. is uhhh... not good!!

clunking is fine, the binding is dependant... how severe of a turn.... you'll shred your CVs and damage a lot of stuff fast if you go full lock, but you can do a gradual turn, however, with that being said... you shouldn't have 4wd on if you're on pavement unless it's snowy out.
