Ok, so my tranny has been wearing out for a while. Its got 225,967 miles on it in my 95 xlt 4x2. It is now constantly overheating and slipping a lot. I intended to either replace or rebuild it but I'm curious of my best options. I'm about to sit the truck on 35s and won't that strain it a lot more? Or when I recalibrate everything, will another 4r55e stand up? I can do a swap but I just wanna know my most sensible choices. Thanks!
