4wd and windows not working

What would cause a problem that when I shift into either 4auto or 4low it blows the fuse for the GEM which controls the windows, locks, and seats, it only blows the fuse when i put it into either 4wd if not using 4wd the other things work fine

Your shift motor could be shorted out - check out the wiring for it
