Hello:
Do I just need to change the transfer case oil?
My 2001 4WD Ford Explorer Sport. When I go into 4WD, it will be running just fine and then about every 30 seconds there will be this hard jolt/knocking down in the case. A friend said to check the fluid and top it off. I read another thread that said changing the old fluid for new helped a lot of problems.
Any advise?
