Hey, I installed new manual Warn hubs last week and tried them out in Ouray.

When I 4-wheel, I drive in 2WD until I usually have to go into 4WD. Well I was going up this steep, rocky trail in 2WD, then I started going slower and slower until I was almost stopped and wasn't worth the high RPM's, so then I stopped decided to go to 4WD High, I pushed on the gas and I still didn't go anywhere. I don't recall this happening anywhere else before. Then I put it in 4WD Low and it acted fine. Had lots of torque, traction... So I went on my way.

It seemed like the whole trip went like that though, my 4WD didn't seem to have the same umph. It seems just the same as 2WD.

Am I just paranoid, or do you guys think it is a problem?

let me see if i understand correctly... you believe that the 4x4 in hi range doesnt work.... but it works fine in low range..... maybe you just arent noticing the fronts working....

That's what it seems like, but it might be just me. I couldn't come up with anything why high wouldn't work, but low did so I thought I might as well ask.

After I went from 2WD to 4WD, I couldn't make it up this hill, which 4WD probably could get up, but it might have just been too steep.

Maybe it is just me.

Were you spinning the tires in 2wd? If not switching to 4wd high you wouldn't notice much since there is no change in gear reduction and it takes the same ammount of pedal to pull the hil as it did in 2wd. By switching to 4lo you were able to creep up the hill with less throttle due to the gear reduction.
