I have a 2002 Explorer XLT and lately I have noticed that when it sits and gets cold the 4X4 High light is on when i turn the engine on. If i press the 4X4 Auto button the 4X4 High indicator will turn off then back on again. This will happen until the truck warms up a bit then I can turn it off and it appears fine after that. I believe the 4X4 High is still working properly when i engage it but I cant be 100% sure. This seems to be happening since its been cold here in the N.E.
