4X4 problems

My 2002 XLT explorer is having problems

4x4 High and Low both light up on the dash. the 4X4 low does go into low but only the rear tires spin in all gears. Even 4x4 auto.

Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome! I don't know, sounds like the front differential needs a looking at, no? How's the fluid? When/where did it stop working?
