4x4 to 2wd

hey guys, i need some help, my friend has a 93 explorer 4wd, and hes what to lower it, so it he wants to make it 2wd, with this kit http://www.suspensionconnection.com/cgi-bin/suscon/K3001-34.html
but what is needed for the 4wd to 2wd?
driveshaft and what else, how much work has he gotten him self in to?

remove transmission and change the tailshaft, get new driveshaft, all new beams up front, new brake rotors, bearings, yada yada.
