i'm trying to decide on a cat back system and can't decide which to get and would like some input. i was planning on buying a MAC cat back, but i read some reviews where they tailpipes started to rust after just a few months. I'm now thinking about Gibson.

honestly the majority of ppl here with 5.0s have Mac. ive had one for about 6 months now and i love it. also my friend daniel has it and he thoroughly enjoys it as well. ide go with the mac.

The one thing I don't like about the MAC is the ricer chrome tip. It needs to go.

any input on the Magnaflow for the 5.0?

I have a Flowmaster Exhaust on my truck! And I LOVE it! 40 serious. Nice low sound, not to load but it is so low that you feel it. When I use my auto start from my room I feel it haha. :salute: Cheers

PS: I also have headers(TMH) and a MAC intake witch makes mine sound different...

i have a MAC intake as well. does any tuning need to be done with that?

I have two trucks both V8 AWD, one has Magnaflow dual in-out and the other has Flowmaster dual in-out. They both sound great but I think the Flowmaster edges out the Magnaflow in sound and a little less resonance once the fiberglass packing wears out of the Magnaflow.

The weird sound is feed back from the camera I had it sitting in the mail box.

I'm glad someone brough up this thread. Because lately I've been contemplating swapping my 50 series muffler for a 40 series?? Is that possible as long as the piping diameter stays the same? I wanna keep the same piping too so I can keep my chrome tip. Plus single is better than duals performance wise I hear alot. I have the SCT3 on my truck. I just want something louder and I can't legally pass inspections if I cut my catalytic converters off. I was looking at this muffler , any comments??
