I'm going to go with some 5 1/4" components up front, and I'm looking to spend in the neighborhood of $150-200 on them. Are there any decent models out there for this kind of money? Thanks!

You can get a set of Boston Accoustic Pro Series for about $215. Below that you can get some Alpines or maybe some Infinity's.

How are the Infinity Kappa 50.2cs components?

For that price, here would be MY personal choice:
the ADS 235is, available here for $209 + s/h.

or the Image Dynamics setup for a little more: Dead Link Removed

But you're listening with your ears, not mine.
Go to some local audio stores. Audition components, preferably in a car. Don't worry too much about price at this point. Write down which ones you like.
Go online to carmedia, or even ebay, and buy them there at much lower cost.
Above all else, I'll take a decent speaker mounted in a great location, rather than the inverse.

I agree with CMB, ADS happens to make quality products but i say spend the money and get yourself a a top end component set, especially for the fronts. currently i am using MB Quart seperates in the rear and in the front im using KICKER Resolution with ND-25a tweeters. i speant more than you are willing to but both sets are amazingly realistic with great imaging. when it comes to car audio you get what you pay for and it turns out cheaper to do it right the first time. my $.02 good luck to yah!

Which set of MB Quarts are you running, Exploder99?

Infinity Kappas. Crutchfield has the 5.25 system for $179!!! That is a CRAZY good deal! There is a jumper setting option in the crossover for a 2-level high output gain of +3dB, but dude, if you wanna keep your hearing, dont set it... keeping it at 0dB is good enough... VERY SWEET SET!!! power is coming from my RF 600a4 which pushes 75 watts for each channel. They have yet to falter and i listen to all different kinds of music.
